Description

The comp ogre bow is a tier 30 ranged weapon in RuneScape 3. It came out with the Zogre Flesh Eaters quest. You need level 30 Ranged to wield it. Its accuracy and attack speed match a maple shortbow, with an accuracy of 454 and a range of 7 squares.

This bow fires two kinds of arrows. Brutal arrows are strong against zogres. Ogre arrows work well against chompy birds and jubblies. That makes this bow a key tool for the Big Chompy Bird Hunting activity. You can even click the bow to check your chompy bird kill count and see if you qualify for a Chompy hat.

To equip the bow, you must first speak with Grish during the Zogre Flesh Eaters quest, before the final battle. It is the only composite bow that can be made with the Fletching skill. Making one takes level 30 Fletching, partial completion of the quest, and an unstrung comp bow plus a bowstring.

The comp ogre bow is tradeable, noteable, and can be disassembled. It weighs 1.814 kg and sits in the weapon slot.
