Description
Ogre arrows are members-only ammo in RuneScape 3. They have a bone tip and can only be fired from ogre bows and composite ogre bows. They are used to hunt large game birds like chompy birds and jubblies. You need level 30 Ranged to use them. They are Tier 30 arrows with 432 ability damage and a damage rating of 288.
These arrows matter for quests too. You need them for Big Chompy Bird Hunting and for the Freeing Skrach Uglogwee part of Recipe for Disaster. In Big Chompy Bird Hunting, Rantz calls them "stabbers".
Making ogre arrows takes work. You need level 5 Fletching, achey tree logs, feathers, a chisel, and wolf bones. Each log gives 4 arrow shafts, and each set of wolf bones gives 4 bone arrowheads. Buying the arrows saves you from all that gathering and crafting.
Ogre arrows are stackable, so they take up only one spot in your inventory. They are also tradeable and weigh nothing. If you plan to hunt chompy birds or finish these quests, a good stack of ogre arrows keeps you ready to shoot.
