Buy RS3 Unstrung comp bow

Description

The RS3 Unstrung comp bow is an unstrung composite ogre bow. It is the base item needed to make a Comp ogre bow. String it with a bowstring or a fungal bowstring to finish the bow. Stringing it gives 45 Fletching experience.

Players can also make this bow themselves. To do that, use a knife on an achey tree log while carrying wolf bones. This needs level 30 Fletching and at least partial completion of the Zogre Flesh Eaters quest. It is a members only item. Buying the unstrung bow skips the log and bone work.

The bow weighs 5 kg. It is tradeable and noteable, but it cannot be worn or stacked. It can also be disassembled for Invention. Disassembly most often gives Simple parts and rarely gives Variable components.

This item has one fun quirk. It is the only unstrung bow in the game with the word Unstrung in its name. Every other unstrung bow just has a (u) at the end of its name. Grab an Unstrung comp bow to train Fletching or to make your own Comp ogre bow fast.
