The desert robe is a piece of desert clothing in RuneScape 3. It helps players cross the Kharidian Desert by heat. The robe slows down how fast you need to drink from your waterskins. You still need waterskins to cross the desert on foot, but you will drink less often.
For the best protection from desert heat, wear the full set. The set includes a desert shirt, the desert robe, and desert boots. Together they add 12 seconds between drinks.
The desert robe has no combat stat requirements and belongs to no class. It gives 0 armour and 0 damage. It weighs 0.907 kg. It is a members only item. It is tradeable, equipable, noteable, and can be disassembled.
The robe is also useful in quests. A full white desert robe outfit is needed for the Tourist Trap quest. You give it to a slave miner to get a slave outfit and reach a deeper part of the mining camp. In the Shadow of the Storm quest, you can dye a desert robe with black mushroom ink to make a black desert robe.
