Description

Grimy marrentill is a members-only herb in RuneScape 3. It is a herb in its dirty state, so it must be cleaned before use. Cleaning it needs level 9 Herblore and gives 5 Herblore experience.

Clean marrentill is used to make defence potions, antipoisons, and Guthix rest. It can also be made into marrentill tar or used to light incense burners in a player-owned house. This makes grimy marrentill a handy herb for players training Herblore or stocking up on potions.

Players can grow this herb from a marrentill seed with level 14 Farming. Each herb picked gives 15 Farming experience. It can also drop from many monsters or come from the Sorceress's Garden minigame. Up to 50 can fit in a herb bag, and up to 100 in an upgraded herb bag.

Grimy marrentill is tradeable and noteable, but it does not stack in the bank as a normal item. It can be disassembled for Invention, and it mostly gives Organic parts. It is very light at only 0.007 kg, so it is easy to carry in bulk for training or crafting.
