Ground bat bones are a members-only item in RuneScape 3. Players use them to make the magic ogre potion. This potion is needed for the Watchtower quest and is part of the Herblore skill.

You can make ground bat bones by using a pestle and mortar on bat bones. Players with level 85 Magic can also use the Telekinetic Grind spell. This spell grinds 28 bat bones at once. It uses 2 astral runes and 1 law rune, and it gives 89 Magic experience.

Be careful when you use ground bat bones. If you add them to an unfinished guam potion, the mix will explode. You will lose the water, the clean guam, and the ground bones. You will keep the vial.

Ground bat bones are tradeable and noteable, and they weigh only 0.1 kg. They can also be disassembled. Disassembly gives 0.1 experience and most often gives simple parts. Variable components can appear on rare occasions.
