Description
Ground fishing bait is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. Players use it to feed baby pet birds hatched with the Summoning skill. It also feeds platypuses. If you raise pets in RS3, this is the food most young birds need.
The item is made by grinding fishing bait with a pestle and mortar. Players can grind up to 10 pieces of bait at once, and each batch takes only 0.6 seconds. At Magic level 85, the Telekinetic Grind spell can also make it. Each cast uses 2 astral runes and 1 law rune, grinds 60 fishing bait at once, and gives 89 Magic experience.
Ground fishing bait is tradeable and stackable, and it weighs nothing, so it takes up almost no space. It can also be disassembled for the Invention skill. Disassembly gives 0.1 experience with a 98.9% base junk chance. It gives Simple parts most of the time and Variable components on rare occasions.
