Description

The RS3 Harpoon is a tool for the Fishing skill in RuneScape 3. Players use it at Cage/Harpoon fishing spots and Net/Harpoon fishing spots. It works over and over, so one harpoon can catch as many fish as a player wants.

With level 35 Fishing, players can catch raw tuna for 80 experience each. At level 50, they can also catch raw swordfish for 100 experience each. Members with level 76 Fishing can harpoon raw sharks for 110 experience each. When two fish types can be caught, players will usually catch more of the lower level fish.

Good fishing spots for tuna and swordfish include Catherby, Musa Point on Karamja, the Fishing Guild, and the docks of Rellekka. Sharks can be caught at spots like Catherby, the Fishing Guild, and Burgh de Rott.

The harpoon can be stored on the tool belt, so it does not take up an inventory slot. It cannot be wielded. It is also the tertiary ingredient for infusing Ibis pouches. The harpoon is tradeable, noteable, and can be disassembled. It weighs 1.36 kg.
