Description
The Invoke Lord of Bones incantation codex is a tradeable item in RuneScape 3. Read it to unlock the Invoke Lord of Bones incantation for the Necromancy skill. You need level 78 Necromancy to use it. The codex can only be read once. It is consumed when you read it.
The incantation gives you a strong buff in combat. When you cast it, your Skeleton Warrior gains a 60 second buff. Each of its attacks applies the Shattering Bones debuff to its target. Each stack lowers the target's armour rating by 0.2%. It can build up to 200 stacks, for a total armour reduction of 40%. The incantation has no cooldown and grants 168 Necromancy experience per cast. Each cast uses 8 Spirit runes, 6 Bone runes, 2 Flesh runes, and 1 Miasma rune.
This codex normally drops from the Zemouregal and Vorkath boss fight. The drop is rare, at 1 in 249 on normal mode and 1 in 150 on hard mode. Buying the codex lets players skip the grind and boost their Necromancy damage right away. It is a great pick for anyone training Necromancy or fighting tough bosses.
