Description

The Leather body is a piece of ranged armour worn in the chest slot in RuneScape 3. It has no level requirements, so any player can equip it right away. It counts as tier 5 tank armour in the ranged class. This makes it a good pick for low-level rangers and pure builds. As the examine text says, it is better than no armour.

The Leather body gives 34.5 armour, a 75 life points bonus, 0.1% PvM damage reduction, and 0.3% PvP damage reduction. It weighs 2.721 kg and is tradeable, equipable, and noteable.

Players can craft one at level 1 Crafting with one piece of soft leather and a needle. This gives 25 Crafting experience. At level 41 Crafting, steel studs can be added to turn it into a studded body for 40 Crafting experience. The Leather body can also be disassembled for parts, including cover parts, padded parts, and tensile parts.
