This shield is player made. You can make it at an anvil or forge with a Mithril kiteshield and at least 2 Mithril bars. You also need a hammer. Making it needs 30 Smithing and gives 240 Smithing experience. You can upgrade it again with 4 more Mithril bars to make a Mithril kiteshield + 2.
The shield is free to play and tradeable, so any player can buy, sell, or wear it. It is very light at 0.01 kg. It high alchs for 600 coins and low alchs for 400 coins.
Players who train Invention can disassemble it for 16 materials and 9 Invention experience. It can give cover parts, plated parts, deflecting parts, strong components, or protective components. This makes it useful for early melee defence and for smithing or Invention training.
