Description

Onyx bolt tips are members-only items in RuneScape 3. They attach to the tips of rune bolts and bakriminel bolts. Once attached, rune bolts become onyx bolts and bakriminel bolts become onyx bakriminel bolts. Players with level 87 Magic can enchant these bolts to make onyx bolts (e) and onyx bakriminel bolts (e).

Onyx bolts (e) need level 80 to use and have a damage value of 768. They have a 10% chance to trigger Life Leech. This effect heals up to 25% of damage potential, capped at 2,500, and deals 25% more damage. Onyx bakriminel bolts (e) need level 99 and have a damage value of 912.

Players can make onyx bolt tips at level 73 Fletching by cutting an onyx into 24 tips. Attaching a tip to a rune bolt gives 9.4 Fletching experience. At level 77 Herblore, six tips can be mixed with a luck potion to make an enhanced luck potion for 178 Herblore experience.

Onyx bolt tips are tradeable and stackable, and they weigh nothing. They can also be disassembled for Base parts, Head parts, Spiked parts, and Stunning components.
