Description
Phasmatite is a mining resource in RuneScape 3. It is a light green rock infused with ectoplasm. It burns with a bright green flame and makes a sound like distant screaming.
Players need level 70 Mining to mine phasmatite rocks. These rocks are found in several spots, like the Haunted Mine, the Dwarven Mine resource dungeon, the mine south of Port Phasmatys, and the Lava Maze mine in the Wilderness. Higher Mining levels and better pickaxes let players mine it faster.
The main use for phasmatite is smithing. Players combine it with necrite ore at a furnace to make necronium bars. This needs level 70 Smithing. Phasmatite is also an ingredient in Powerburst of opportunity potions.
Phasmatite can be stored in an ore box. A necronium ore box or better holds 100, and this can grow with higher Mining levels and certain achievements. Players with level 77 Divination can transmute phasmatite from lustrous energy and drakolith ore. At level 86 Divination, it can be turned into banite ore.
