Description
Necrite ore is a members-only mining resource in RuneScape 3. Players mine it from necrite rocks, which require level 70 Mining. The ore is tradeable and can be noted, and it can be stored in a necronium ore box or higher.
The main use for necrite ore is smithing. Combine it with phasmatite at a furnace to make a necronium bar. This needs level 70 Smithing and gives 17 Smithing experience per bar. You can also smelt it with the Superheat Item spell, which uses a nature rune and 4 fire runes and adds 53 Magic experience.
Necrite ore works with Divination too. At level 71, you can transmute lustrous energy and orichalcite ore into necrite ore. At level 86, you can turn necrite ore and radiant energy into banite ore.
Necrite rocks are found in several spots, such as near Uzer in the Kharidian Desert, the Al Kharid resource dungeon, the Desert Mining Camp, and the level 35 Wilderness southeast of the Lava Maze. Buying necrite ore lets players skip the mining grind and train Smithing right away.
