Rainbow sweetcorn is a mega produce item in RuneScape 3. It is a bigger and better version of regular sweetcorn. In the game, its description says you feel a great sense of pride looking at it.
Players grow rainbow sweetcorn from regular sweetcorn seeds in allotment patches. When the patch is fully grown, you must drink a harvest potion before you pick the crop. While the potion is active, you harvest rainbow sweetcorn instead of normal sweetcorn.
The main reason players want rainbow sweetcorn is cooking. It is a key part of the primal starter, a dish used to make a primal feast. To cook a primal starter, you need 99 Cooking plus raw oculi apoterrasaur meat, a rainbow sweetcorn, a cannonball cabbage, and a sweet potato. Buying rainbow sweetcorn saves you the time it takes to grow the crop and use potions on each harvest.
Rainbow sweetcorn is a members item. It is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to store and move. It cannot be alchemised and it weighs nothing. It was added to the game on 25 November 2019 and is not a quest item.
