Raw catfish is a fish in RuneScape 3. Players catch it in the fishing spots of Menaphos with level 60 Fishing. It takes a fishing rod and fishing bait. Each catch gives 85 Fishing experience and 4.5 reputation to the player's active faction. Each catch also has a 1 in 2,000 chance to give a slimy egg, which unlocks the Squeck pet.

With level 60 Cooking, raw catfish can be cooked on a range or fire. This gives 145 Cooking experience and makes a Catfish, which heals 1,500 life points when eaten. Raw catfish can also go in a trough to make fishy mush or variety mush at level 17.

This item is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs 0.5 kg. It can also be disassembled for 1.8 Disassembly experience. It falls in the food and herbs category and gives mostly organic parts, with small chances of crafted parts, enhancing components, healthy components, and living components. The base junk chance is 34 percent.
