Description

The raw manta ray is a members-only fish in RuneScape 3. It takes level 81 Fishing to catch. Players can get it as a reward from the Fishing Trawler minigame. It can also be caught at the Deep Sea Fishing hub. There, players use manta ray bait to draw the fish to a magical fishing spot. Each catch at the spot gives 200 Fishing experience. One piece of bait lets a player catch up to 50 manta rays.

Raw manta rays can be cooked at level 91 Cooking. Each one gives 216 Cooking experience. They burn often, even at high levels. Wearing a Cooking cape at level 99 stops them from burning. The cooked manta ray is a strong food for players who want good healing in combat.

This fish has other uses too. In Big Game Hunter on Anachronia, raw manta rays attract the bagrada rex. Players can also transmute the fish with Divination. At level 93, it can be made from 5 luminous energy and 3 raw cavefish. At level 98, it can be turned into a raw rocktail with 5 incandescent energy.
