Sandstone (10kg) is a large chunk of sandstone in RuneScape 3. It is the biggest of the four sandstone block sizes. Players mine it from sandstone rocks at the Desert Quarry in the Kharidian Desert. It can also come from mineral deposits in the Worker district and VIP skilling area in Menaphos. Mining the rocks needs level 35 Mining. Mining the deposits needs level 50 Mining.

This block is great for making extra fine sand. Grind it with a pestle and mortar. Heavier blocks give a better chance of extra fine sand, and the 10kg size gives the best odds. You can also use a knife to cut it into smaller pieces. One 10kg block can become ten 1kg pieces, five 2kg pieces, or two 5kg pieces.

Sandstone (10kg) is also a quest item for Enakhra's Lament. The item is tradeable and noteable, and it can be disassembled for parts. It weighs 10 kg and does not stack. Buy this block to skip the desert heat and the long mining trips, and get straight to your sand and crafting goals.
