Description
Silver bolts are ranged ammunition in RuneScape 3. They can be fired from a crossbow and use the Ranged combat style. These bolts need level 25 Ranged to use. They are tier 25 with an ability damage of 240 and a maximum hit of 360.
Silver bolts deal the same damage as black bolts. They hit harder than steel bolts but not as hard as mithril bolts. Their real value is against vampyres. Silver bolts are the only ranged ammo that can damage Vampyre juvinates until blisterwood stakes are unlocked. This makes them a key item for fighting these monsters.
Players can make silver bolts with level 21 Crafting by using a silver bar on a furnace with a bolt mould. This gives 10 unfeathered bolts. Adding feathers at level 43 Fletching finishes them. Buying them ready to use skips all of that work.
A few things to know. Ava's attractor, accumulator, and alerter cannot pick these bolts up. Gem bolt tips cannot be attached to them. They can also be disassembled for base parts, head parts, spiked parts, and stunning components.
