Description
Snake hide is a useful material in RuneScape 3. In the game, it drops from poisonous snakes on Mos Le'Harmless and from bush snakes that appear during the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame. It is tradeable, noteable, and weighs 0.5 kg.
Players want snake hide for two main skills. For Crafting, a tanner can turn each hide into snakeskin for 15 coins. The Make Leather spell at level 83 Magic works too. Snakeskin is used to craft snakeskin armour, such as boots, bandanas, vambraces, chaps, and bodies. It also helps make Broodoo shields and masterwork elasticated leather.
For Summoning, snake hide is the tertiary ingredient for spirit cobra pouches at level 63 Summoning. From level 63 to 75, these pouches give some of the best experience you can get from crimson charms.
