Buy RS3 Vorkath's scale

Description

Vorkath's scale is a rare item in RuneScape 3. It is used to upgrade Dracolich armour into elite Dracolich armour. The scale takes the place of the ancient scales, algarum thread, and ranged praesulic essence that the upgrade would normally need.

You need level 92 Crafting to use the scale. Using it gives 1,500 Crafting experience. It works on the Dracolich boots, chaps, coif, hauberk, and vambraces. Each piece becomes its elite version. Because the scale costs so much, it is best to use it on the body or the chaps.

The scale drops from loot chests earned by beating Zemouregal and Vorkath in hard mode. The drop rate is 1 in 150, so it is hard to get. Buying one lets you skip those long boss fights and upgrade your ranged gear right away.

Vorkath's scale is tradeable. It cannot be worn and does not stack. It weighs 0.1 kg. The item came to the game on 8 January 2024. It comes from Vorkath, the undead blue dragon from the Fort Forinthry quest series. If you want elite Dracolich armour, this scale is a fast path to it.
