Description

Willow logs are a basic resource in RuneScape 3. Players cut them from willow trees with a hatchet at level 20 Woodcutting. Each log gives 67.5 Woodcutting experience, and a full inventory gives 1,890 experience.

Willow logs are great for training Firemaking. Burning one with a tinderbox needs level 30 Firemaking and gives 90 experience, or 105 experience on a bonfire. At level 40 Crafting and 40 Firemaking, players can build pyre ships with them for 22.5 Crafting experience and 90 Firemaking experience.

These logs also help with Fletching. With a knife, players can carve them into willow shortbows at level 35, willow stocks at level 39, or willow shieldbows at level 40. They give 33.3, 22, and 41.5 Fletching experience.

Willow logs have other uses too. They are the tertiary ingredient for beaver pouches in Summoning. Each log gives 3 charges in the balloon transport system. They are also used to make spirit weed incense sticks, which has made them more valuable since 2019.

Buying willow logs saves hours of chopping. Players can skip the grind and train Firemaking, Fletching, or Summoning right away.
