Description

The wooden stock is a Fletching item in RuneScape 3. It is the base part needed to make a bronze crossbow. Players cut a wooden stock from regular logs with a knife at Fletching level 9, which gives 6 Fletching experience.

To use it, attach the wooden stock to bronze crossbow limbs at Fletching level 9. This gives 12 experience and makes an unstrung bronze crossbow. This makes the wooden stock a handy item for players training Fletching at low levels or working on early crossbows.

The wooden stock is tradeable and can be noted, but it does not stack. It can also be disassembled for Invention. It falls under the crossbow and stocks category and can give connector parts, tensile parts, spiked parts, stunning components, and dextrous components.

In the game, wooden stocks are sold at crossbow shops. These include Hura's Crossbow Shop in the Dwarven Mine, Hirko's Crossbow Shop in Keldagrim Marketplace, and Holoy's Crossbow Shop on White Wolf Mountain. They can also come from the storage crate reward at the Varrock Museum. Buying wooden stocks saves time cutting logs and keeps Fletching training simple.
