Description
The Bowl of water is a simple but useful cooking item in Old School RuneScape. It is made by using a normal bowl on a water source that is not a well. The Humidify spell can also fill any empty bowls a player carries.
This item is a key part of many cooking recipes. Players can mix it with a pot of flour to make bread dough, pastry dough, pitta dough, or a pizza base. Adding a potato or meat makes an incomplete stew. Adding nettles makes nettle-water, which turns into nettle tea when heated. It can also be used to make damiana water and soft clay.
Heating a bowl of water on a stove or a fire creates a bowl of hot water, which is used to make Guthix rest and is needed in the One Small Favour quest.
The bowl of water does not stop the desert heat effect, since the water evaporates. The water can be moved into a waterskin instead. The item is tradeable, noteable, not equipable, and not stackable. It weighs 0.907 kg and was released on 11 June 2001.
