Description

Dragonstone dragon bolts are strong ammo for Old School RuneScape. They are dragon bolts with dragonstone bolt tips attached. Each bolt has a Ranged strength bonus of +122. They stack in your inventory, and they are members only. You need a Dragon crossbow or better to fire them.

You can enchant these bolts with the Enchant Crossbow Bolt (Dragonstone) spell. This needs level 68 Magic. Each cast enchants 10 bolts and uses 1 cosmic rune, 1 soul rune, and 15 earth runes. Enchanted bolts have a 6% chance to trigger the Dragon's breath effect on a hit. This adds extra damage equal to 20% of your visible Ranged level. If you boost your Ranged level, the extra damage goes up too. The Zaryte crossbow raises this to 22%.

These bolts shine in PvP. They can hit very hard on players without antifire protection. With 99 Ranged, Rigour, Elite Void, and a Ranging potion, the special can hit up to 71 in PvP. The Hard Kandarin Diary boosts the trigger chance by 10%, for a total of 6.6%. The effect does not work on targets immune to dragonfire or players using Protect from Magic.
