Description
The incomplete light ballista is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It is one step in making a light ballista, a ranged weapon. Players make it by attaching ballista limbs to a light frame. This needs level 47 Fletching and gives 15 Fletching experience.
This item is not a weapon on its own. You cannot equip it. It is a crafting part that leads to the finished ballista. To move forward, add a ballista spring to it. This also needs level 47 Fletching and gives 15 more experience. The result is an unstrung light ballista. From there, attach a monkey tail to make the full light ballista and earn 300 Fletching experience.
Buying an incomplete light ballista saves time. You skip gathering the ballista limbs and light frame yourself. This makes it a smart pick for players training Fletching or working toward a light ballista for ranged combat.
The item is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to buy, sell, and carry in bulk. It is not stackable and weighs 2.5 kg. It cannot be equipped at any stage before the ballista is complete.
