Description
The sapphire ring is a gold ring with a blue sapphire set in it. It is a popular item in Old School RuneScape. Players can wear it, trade it, or note it. It has no combat stat bonuses, so most players buy it for other uses.
The biggest reason to own a sapphire ring is enchanting. Members can cast the Lvl-1 Enchant spell on it to make a ring of recoil. This spell needs level 7 Magic, one cosmic rune, and one water rune, and it gives 17.5 Magic experience. The ring of recoil is a common pick for combat training and low level builds.
The ring also has other uses. It works in an Easy tier Treasure Trails clue, where the player must do the Dance emote at the crossroads north of Draynor Village. Players can also sell it to Grum's Gold Exchange in Port Sarim, where the price can beat High Alchemy based on his stock.
Players who want to skip crafting can buy the ring instead. Making one needs level 20 Crafting, a gold bar, a sapphire, and a ring mould, and it gives 40 experience.
