Description

The willow shortbow is a two-handed ranged weapon in Old School RuneScape. It needs a Ranged level of 20 or higher to wield. It is stronger than the oak shortbow but weaker than the maple shortbow. The bow can fire arrows up to mithril and gives a ranged attack bonus of +20.

This bow has three combat styles. Accurate shoots every 2.4 seconds with a 7 tile range and gives extra Ranged experience. Rapid shoots faster, every 1.8 seconds, with the same 7 tile range. Longrange shoots every 2.4 seconds with a longer 9 tile range and gives a Defence boost.

Players can buy the willow shortbow from Lowe's Archery Emporium in Varrock. Members can also make one with level 35 Fletching. First, cut an unstrung willow shortbow from willow logs for 33.3 Fletching experience. Then string it with a bow string for 33.2 more experience.

The willow shortbow weighs 1.36 kg and is available to free-to-play players. It is a solid choice for players training Ranged at low levels who want a faster and stronger bow than the oak shortbow.
