The Bane platebody + 2 is a tier 77 melee body armour in RuneScape 3. It is a bane platebody that has been upgraded two times. You need level 80 Defence to wear it. It is a members only item.
This tank armour gives strong protection in melee fights. It has 410 armour and adds 1,155 life points. It also cuts the damage you take by 1.54% against monsters and 4.62% against other players.
The platebody degrades over 30,000 charges of combat. When it breaks, it can be repaired. You can fix it on an armour stand, at a whetstone, or on an anvil with 10 bane bars. The cost depends on how worn it is.
Smiths can make this item at a forge and anvil with 10 bane bars and a bane platebody + 1. This needs level 80 Smithing and gives 7,000 Smithing experience. It can be upgraded again to a bane platebody + 3 with 20 more bars.
The item is tradeable, equipable, and noteable. It can also be disassembled for parts like Plated parts and Strong components. It stacks in the bank but not in your inventory.
