Description
The bane square shield + 2 is a tier 77 melee shield in RuneScape 3. It is a bane square shield that has been upgraded twice. You need level 80 Defence to wear it.
This shield gives strong defence in melee combat. It has an armour rating of 356.6, a life points bonus of 280, and 7.7% damage reduction against monsters. That makes it a solid pick for players who want extra protection while training or fighting bosses.
The shield degrades as you fight. It breaks after 30,000 charges of combat, but it can be repaired. A full repair costs up to 240,000 coins, and an armour stand or whetstone makes it cheaper. You can also repair it with bane bars at an anvil.
Players with 80 Smithing can upgrade it to a bane square shield + 3 by using 8 more bane bars. The item is members only, tradeable, and can be noted. It weighs only 0.02 kg, so it is easy to carry.
