The Black wizard robe top is a magic armour piece in RuneScape 3. It goes in the torso slot and needs no level to wear. It is tier 5 tank armour with 34.5 armour, 75 life points, and 0.1% PvM damage reduction.
This robe top is part of the black robes set. The set also includes the black wizard hat and the black wizard robe skirt. Black robes can be worn with other black items in the Shadow of the Storm quest, so many players pick up this top for that quest.
The item can be crafted with a needle, thread, and 2 strips of black cloth. It only takes level 1 Crafting and gives 10 experience. Members can also make one by dyeing a normal wizard robe top with black mushroom ink. Blue dye turns it back into a wizard robe top.
The robe top is tradeable and weighs 0.907 kg. It drops from monsters like Dark wizards, Shadow warriors, Dagon'hai Monks, and Elite Dark Mages. Betty's Magic Emporium in Port Sarim also stocks it. It can be disassembled for parts like Cover parts, Magic parts, and Protective components.
