Description

The blowpipe feather is a rare item in RuneScape 3. It is one of the parts needed to make the upgraded bone blowpipe. To make the upgrade, you combine the feather with a bone blowpipe, blowpipe fins, and a blowpipe chitin. This needs level 87 Crafting and gives 1,000 Crafting experience.

The feather drops from four dinosaur Slayer monsters on Anachronia. These are the Ripper dinosaur, the Venomous dinosaur, the Feral Dinosaur, and the Brutish dinosaur. The drop is very rare. The chance ranges from 1 in 20,000 to 1 in 5,400, depending on conditions. Buying the feather saves you from long hours of hunting these monsters.

The upgraded bone blowpipe builds on the bone blowpipe, a tier 50 two-handed thrown ranged weapon that needs no ammo. Getting the feather is a key step for players who want to finish this upgrade.

The blowpipe feather is tradeable and noteable, and it can be disassembled. It weighs 2.5 kg. It was added to the game on 8 July 2019. Its in-game description reads "Tickle tickle tickle!" Grab a blowpipe feather and get one step closer to your upgraded bone blowpipe.
