Buy RS3 Carapace torso

Description

The Carapace torso is a piece of Ranged tank armour in RuneScape 3. It fills the torso slot at tier 30 and needs 30 Defence to wear. Free players can equip it, so it works well on any account.

This armour gives 104 armour and a bonus of 450 life points. It also cuts damage by 0.6% against monsters and 1.8% against other players. These stats make it a solid pick for training Ranged at lower levels. It gives better protection than studded leather but less than green dragonhide.

Players can also make this item with the Crafting skill. It takes a needle, thread, and three pieces of carapace, which drop from cockroach soldiers. Crafting one requires level 35 Crafting.

The Carapace torso is tradeable and can be noted. It can also be broken down with the Invention skill for parts like Cover parts, Padded parts, and Protective components. It weighs 2.721 kg and is part of the full Carapace set, which includes a helm, legs, gloves, boots, and a shield. The torso is the strongest piece in the set.
