The chopped tomato is a members-only food item in RuneScape 3. It is made by using a bowl on a tomato while a knife is in the inventory. Making it needs level 1 Cooking and gives 1 Cooking experience. It only takes one bowl and one tomato to create.
Eating a chopped tomato heals 200 life points. That is the same amount as a plain tomato. The item weighs 0.2 kg. It is tradeable, noteable, and edible, but it cannot be worn or stacked.
The chopped tomato is the first step in making spicy tomato. Add gnome spice or regular spice to the bowl to create it. Spicy tomato is a useful bait for chinchompas in the Piscatoris Hunter area at level 53 Hunter. The chopped tomato cannot be mixed with an onion to make onion and tomato.
Players can also disassemble the chopped tomato for Invention materials. It most often gives Organic parts, with smaller chances of Crafted parts, Enhancing components, Healthy components, and Living components. The base junk chance is 98.9%. The item was added to the game on 14 April 2003.
