The Dazzling whirligig shell is a members only item in RuneScape 3. It is a shell from a dazzling whirligig, a creature found inside Het's Oasis. Players catch dazzling whirligigs with the Hunter skill at level 20. To attract one, place golden roses inside a flower basket. Each catch always drops one shell.
The main use for this shell is making powder of penance. Grind one shell with a pestle and mortar to get one powder of penance and 50 experience. Players with level 85 Magic can use the Telekinetic Grind spell instead. This spell grinds 60 shells at once using 2 astral runes and 1 law rune.
