Description

Golden roses are a members-only flower in RuneScape 3. Players get them by chance when they harvest a fully grown flower bush in Het's Oasis. Adding compost before growing the bush raises the chance, and better compost gives a higher chance. The roses are tradeable and stackable, and they weigh nothing.

Golden roses have two main uses. First, players can add them to a flower basket to attract dazzling whirligigs. These bugs drop dazzling whirligig shells, which are used to make powder of penance. Second, players can add golden roses to a beehive to make shimmering honeycombs. Feeding a shimmering honeycomb to a player-owned farm or Anachronia Dinosaur Farm animal gives a better chance of shiny offspring.

Golden roses also count toward achievements. Harvesting them completes the Golden Fingers achievement. Using every honeycomb on farm animals unlocks the Honey, Honey achievement.

The roses come from the Rose bush at level 30, the Iris bush at level 50, the Hydrangea bush at level 70, the Hollyhock bush at level 90, and the Water filtration system. Each source gives 1 to 3 roses. Golden roses were released on 4 January 2022.
