Description

Dragon bolt tips are Members-only Fletching items in RuneScape 3. They are made from cut dragonstones. Players attach them to rune bolts or Bakriminel bolts to make stronger ammo. When added to rune bolts, they become dragon bolts. When added to Bakriminel bolts, they become dragonstone bakriminel bolts.

Both types of bolts can be enchanted with level 68 Magic. This turns them into dragon bolts (e) or dragonstone bakriminel bolts (e). Enchanted dragon bolts have a 5% chance to trigger the Dragon's breath effect. This hits the target a second time with dragonfire for 25% of the player's current attack. Dragons and targets with dragonfire protection are immune to this effect.

Players need level 71 Fletching to attach these tips to bolts. Each tip attached to a rune bolt gives 8.2 Fletching experience. This makes dragon bolt tips a solid pick for training Fletching while making useful ammo.

Dragon bolt tips are stackable and weigh nothing, so they take up only one inventory space. Buying them in bulk saves the time it takes to chisel dragonstones, letting players get right to fletching or fighting.
