Magic notepaper is a handy item in RuneScape 3 that turns other items into notes. Notes are stackable, so they take up much less space in your backpack. Just use an item from your backpack on the notepaper. The item and any matching items turn into notes right away. One sheet of magic notepaper is used up for each item you note.
This makes magic notepaper great for skilling and gathering. You can note logs, ores, fish, and many other items out in the world. That means fewer trips to the bank and more time playing.
Most items can be noted this way, but a few cannot. These include unchecked animals, clean vine herbs, damaged artefacts, ashes, papyrus, buckets of slime, and blue dragon scales. Magic notepaper also cannot be used inside a player-owned house.
