Description
The Magic plank is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. It is a plank made from magical wood. Players use it to train the Construction skill.
Magic planks are needed to upgrade buildings in Fort Forinthry. They are used on the Town Hall, the Kitchen, and the Ranger's Workroom. Players can also use them at a sawmill workbench with level 80 Construction to make Refined Magic planks. Five planks and a hammer can build a Vine frame at a Hops Patch with level 60 Construction.
Magic planks come from magic logs. Players can make them at a sawmill workbench, pay a sawmill operator, or use a portable sawmill. The Plank Make spell also works with level 86 Magic and level 86 Construction. Players with high Invention levels can use a plank maker machine to turn logs into planks.
Magic planks are tradeable and noteable, so they are easy to store and move. They can also be disassembled for Simple parts or Crafted parts. Buying magic planks saves time on making them, so players can get straight to building and training Construction.
