Description
The magic stock is the wooden part of every dragon crossbow in RuneScape 3. Players make it by using a knife on magic logs. This needs level 92 Fletching and gives 100 Fletching experience per stock.
The main use for a magic stock is crafting. At level 94 Fletching, you can combine one magic stock with one set of dragon limbs to make an unstrung dragon crossbow. This gives 200 Fletching experience. Add a crossbow string to finish a dragon crossbow, an off-hand dragon crossbow, or a dragon 2h crossbow.
Magic stocks are also useful for Invention. Each one gives 14.1 disassembly experience and falls under the crossbows and stocks category. Possible materials include connector parts, spiked parts, tensile parts, stunning components, and dextrous components.
The item weighs 1 kg and is not stackable, but it can be noted. Free players can make it, but it has no use outside of members worlds. Monsters like Sotapanna, Sakadagami, Arhat, Anagami, and murderous bakami and orokami also drop magic stocks.
