The Malevolent cuirass is a tier 90 Melee power body armour in RuneScape 3. It comes from Barrows Rise of the Six and needs level 90 Defence to wear. It has 500.9 armour, 33.7 damage bonus, a prayer bonus of 3, and 2.7% PvP damage reduction. It matches the same tier as tectonic and sirenic armour, so it is a top choice for strong melee players.
The cuirass lasts for 100,000 charges of combat. After that, it degrades to nothing and cannot be repaired. It becomes untradeable as soon as it is worn, even before any fight. Players can dye it with Barrows, Shadow, Third Age, Blood, or Ice dye. Dyed versions break instead of turning to dust, and they can be fixed with malevolent energy.
The cuirass can be smithed at an anvil with 93 Smithing, using 42 malevolent energy and 3 reinforcing plates. It can also be broken down into up to six malevolent essence, which is used to make masterwork armour trim. Pair it with the malevolent helm and greaves for the full set, plus razorback gauntlets and emberkeen boots.
