The bow fires arrows and has an attack range of 7 spaces. It is a tier 10 weapon with 202 accuracy and a fast attack speed of 3.0 seconds. It weighs 1.814 kg and goes in the weapon slot.
Players can also make this bow with the Fletching skill. At level 20 Fletching, cut an unstrung oak shortbow from oak logs for 16.5 experience. Then add a bowstring for another 16.5 experience. That is 33 experience per bow, which makes it a common item for Fletching training.
The oak shortbow can be disassembled for parts like Stave parts, Flexible parts, and Tensile parts. It can also drop rare Precise or Dextrous components. It is a free to play item and can be traded with other players.
