Description
The Rune kiteshield + 1 is a melee shield in RuneScape 3. It is a rune kiteshield that has been upgraded once. It gives 175 armour and helps protect you in combat. You need level 50 Defence to wield it.
This shield is not stackable, but it is tradeable, so you can use it or sell it. It works on free-to-play worlds, so members and non-members can both wear it. It is very light at 0.01 kg, so it will not weigh you down.
Players make this shield with the Smithing skill. You need level 50 Smithing, a hammer, and at least 2 Rune bars along with a Rune kiteshield at an anvil or forge. Making it gives 480 Smithing experience. You can also upgrade it again. Use 4 more Rune bars to turn it into a Rune kiteshield + 2.
The shield can be disassembled for Invention. It gives 16 materials, such as cover parts, plated parts, and deflecting parts. It can also give rare strong or protective components. If you need coins fast, it high alchs for 2,000 coins.
