Description
The Rune ore box is a handy item in RuneScape 3 for players who like to mine. It stores every tier of ore from copper up to runite, plus silver ore and gold ore. It can also hold an unlimited amount of matching stone spirits. The box is tradeable and free for members.
Each ore type starts with a storage space of 100. As your Mining level goes up, the space grows to 120 for most ores. Silver and gold ore do not get this boost. Finishing the Everything Is Oresome and Everything Is Still Oresome achievements can raise the cap to 150 per ore.
Use the Fill option to load all unnoted ores and stone spirits from your backpack into the box. You can also add it to your action bar for quick use. The box empties into a bank, bank deposit box, or metal bank.
The Rune ore box is made at an anvil with level 50 Smithing, using one Adamant ore box and two Rune bars. With level 60 Smithing, a hammer, an anvil, and two Orikalkum bars, it can be upgraded into an Orikalkum ore box.
