Description

The strip of cloth is a Crafting item in RuneScape 3. Players make it at a loom using two balls of wool. It needs level 1 Crafting and gives 1.2 experience per strip.

Strips of cloth are the main material for wizard armour. With a needle and thread, players can craft the wizard hat, robe top, robe skirt, boots, gloves, shield, wand, and book. Most pieces need one to three strips and low Crafting levels, so this item is great for training the skill early on. It is also part of making masterwork blue cloth at a loom, which needs level 110 Crafting.

This item has uses beyond crafting gear. It works as a fuse for the barrel bomb in the Regicide quest. It is used to make penguin outfits in the Some Like It Cold quest. Players also use strips of cloth to make flags in four village squares for God Emissaries tasks. Making all four flags gives 7,500 Crafting experience. A Menaphos City Quest can ask for strips of cloth too.

The strip of cloth is tradeable but not stackable or noteable. It weighs 0.34 kg and is always kept on death outside dangerous areas.
