Description

Topaz bolt tips are Fletching items in RuneScape 3. Players attach them to steel bolts or Bakriminel bolts. Steel bolts become topaz bolts, and Bakriminel bolts become red topaz bakriminel bolts. The tips are stackable, tradeable, and weigh nothing, so they take up little space in the backpack.

Players make topaz bolt tips by using a chisel on a red topaz at Fletching level 48. Each red topaz gives 12 tips. Attaching tips to steel bolts also needs Fletching level 48. Attaching them to Bakriminel bolts needs Fletching level 94.

Topaz bolts can be enchanted with level 29 Magic using Enchant Crossbow Bolt (Red Topaz). Enchanted topaz bolts have a 5% chance to trigger the Down to Earth effect. This effect lowers the target's Magic level by 2 and their damage by 1%. It caps at 10 levels and 5% damage reduction. This makes them handy against magic users.

Topaz bolt tips are a solid pick for training Fletching or making cheap ammo with a useful effect. They can also be disassembled for base parts, head parts, spiked parts, and rare stunning components for Invention.
