Description

Trading sticks are the main currency of Tai Bwo Wannai, a jungle village in RuneScape 3. They are stackable and tradeable, so they take up just one spot in your inventory. Players use them to buy goods and services in and around the village.

Trading sticks have three main uses. At Gabooty's store, you can buy cocktails, gem machetes, tropical gems, and gout tubers. Rionasta's Parcel Service will send items from your inventory to your bank for 10 trading sticks per item. The Hardwood Grove sits northeast of the village and holds mahogany and teak trees. The gatekeeper Murcaily charges 100 trading sticks to enter.

Trading sticks also help you get gem-edged machetes from Safta Doc. An opal machete costs 300 sticks plus 3 opals. A jade machete costs 600 sticks plus 3 jade. A red topaz machete costs 1,200 sticks plus 3 red topaz.

Earning sticks in game takes time. Players gain them through the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame, by selling gems and other stocked items to Gabooty, or as drops from monsters near the village. Buying trading sticks skips that grind so you can chop hardwood or ship items right away.
