Description
The uncut emerald is a light green gem in RuneScape 3. It is used in the Crafting and Fletching skills. With level 27 Crafting, players can cut it with a chisel to make an emerald. This gives 67.5 Crafting experience. Cut emeralds can be used to make emerald jewellery.
The gem also helps with Fletching. At level 58 Fletching, a cut emerald can be turned into 12 emerald bolt tips for 5.5 Fletching experience.
Uncut emeralds have other uses too. With level 26 Divination, players can transmute uncut sapphires and bright energy into emeralds. The gem can also be disassembled for parts like precious components and faceted components.
These gems drop from many monsters and come from sedimentary and igneous geodes. Players can mine them from gem rocks or find them in wall safes in the Rogues' Den with level 50 Thieving. They also show up as prizes from many Distractions and Diversions.
The uncut emerald is not members-only and is not stackable. It is a solid pick for players training Crafting or Fletching, or for anyone making emerald jewellery.
