Description
The Cup of water is a members item in Old School RuneScape. It is made by using an empty cup on a water source. You can also fill cups with water by casting the Humidify spell. The item is tradeable and noteable. It cannot be equipped or stacked, and it weighs 0.05 kg. Its item ID is 4458.
The main use for a cup of water is making a cup of hot water. Just heat it on a range or a fire. A cup of hot water is needed to make the Guthix rest potion. It can also be used to make herb tea mixes with guam, harralander, or marrentill.
There are a few limits to know. Nettles cannot be added to a cup of water. Nettles go in a bowl of water instead, and nettle tea is then added to an empty cup. A cup of water also cannot be used to counter the desert heat effect.
This is a simple item, but it is a needed step for players who want to make Guthix rest potions in OSRS.
