Description

The Guam leaf is a bitter green herb in Old School RuneScape. It is the first herb a player can clean. Cleaning a grimy guam leaf needs level 3 Herblore and gives 2.5 Herblore experience.

Guam leaves have many uses. At level 3 Herblore, add one to a vial of water to make a guam potion (unf). Then add an eye of newt to make an Attack potion, which boosts your Attack level by 3 to 12. At level 19 Herblore, mix one leaf with 15 swamp tar to make guam tar, which fuels swamp lizards. At level 18 Herblore, two guam leaves help make a Guthix rest, which heals 5 hitpoints, restores 5% run energy, and cuts poison damage by 1. Guam leaves are also used in the Lunar Diplomacy quest and can be made into ground guam or mox paste.

Players can grow their own guam with level 9 Farming, but buying leaves saves time. The item is members only, tradeable, and noteable. It weighs 0.007 kg. Guam leaves are a great pick for players training early Herblore levels fast.
